The Citizens Council, founded in 2007, is an assembly of people who gather or meet to discuss, advise and consult on issues. The Charter, the purpose and the vision describe the common goals and objectives of the Citizens Council. It is focused on ensuring that Sun City Texas is the premier adult community in the country with a competent governance system, sound financial health and a high quality of life so we all can enjoy living here in a friendly and positive atmosphere. The Citizens Council is an independent group not affiliated with the Developer, the Community Association or any part of the existing governance system. We speak for ourselves. We do not pretend to speak for the whole community or all residents.
